He/she will be working with Nokia AVA cognitive services platform. Nokia AVA is a cloud-based platform that combines big data storage, intelligent analytics and extreme automation, allowing Telecom operators to move away from traditional reactive network operations to a cognitive approach that predicts faults and solves them rapidly. As well as delivering today's expert services, AVA will facilitate a more efficient and faster delivery of Nokia services across the entire network lifecycle. This means Care services, Network implementation, Network Planning and Optimization and Managed Services are supported, with more to come as Nokia continues to move towards cloud-based delivery of services, artificial intelligence and contextualized delivery. AVA ensures low latency, high throughput and extreme resilience of the network. These elements will be key to support operators explore new business areas in the connected world.
Data Visualization Expert Responsibilities and Duties
Lead the functional and technical analysis of customer needs regarding visualization
Drive to the design of the customer solution for the best possible user experience and friendliness
Develop the graphical user interface and structure of the application/dashboard, embedding the most relevant
Collaborate to receive and integrate refined data in the different views of the app/dashboard
Collaborate to identify correlative and predictive analytics as part further improvements
May participate in multiple projects simultaneously
Works harmoniously in a cross-functional team consisting of managers, supervisors, business analysts, systems
personnel, network staff, and other developers in ensuring the delivery of software solutions as planned, within set
budget, and timely
Works with stakeholders to understand business requirements and processes for projects so implementation can
be done without delays.
Provides excellent customer service by responding to and assisting with requests to resolve issues, including system
Maintain and continuously improve delivered solutions
Data Visualization Expert Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required
Knowledge of Telco Quality/Key Performance Indicator management and reporting
Solid knowledge in data visualization tools such as Tableau Desktop / Server, Arcadia or QlikSense
(jQuery lib), Ember or AngularJS, Java or also Ruby
Experience with SQL language & Oracle and CQL language & Cassandra is a plus
Experience on developing using Design Pattern
Experience on Continuous Integration/Delivery practices is a plus
Contributions to open source projects are a plus
Ability to investigate issues and come up with resolutions for large data sets a must
Ability to work collaboratively with other cross-functional organizations
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
